Lapis Lazuli Soy Bowl
Originally designed for Norman’s (Duro Hospitality), the Lapis Lazuli Soy Bowl was crafted by Marcello to serve as the perfect vessel for soy sauce, featuring a signature notch to hold chopsticks. Its versatile design has since evolved into a customer favorite, used frequently as a sophisticated ashtray or a small bowl for ice cream and tasting spoons.
The bowl is made from our studio-stained brown porcelain and finished in our Lapis Lazuli glaze. This deep blue is inspired by the metamorphic rock found in Chile—where Marcello’s family is from—and across the ancient world. Once a pigment so rare it was reserved for royalty and masterpieces like Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, our Lapis glaze brings that same sense of divinity and luxury to the modern table.
Handmade for home cooks and professional chefs alike.
Dishwasher and microwave safe. All of our ceramics are handmade in Dallas, Texas at Marcello Andres’ quonset hut. Perfectly imperfect: Due to variations in glaze and finishes, products may differ from what’s pictured.
