Broken Wave Plate

The Broken Wave series originated from Marcello’s work with wave sculptures. The form is created by hand-bending the clay—a high-tension process where the clay either takes the curve or breaks. We choose to lean into those fractures, resulting in a plate that captures the raw, physical movement of the material.

The collection is finished in a deep Oribe glaze. This traditional green glaze is known for its copper undertones and the way it pools in the ridges and breaks of the clay, highlighting the unique texture of every piece.
