Texas Gold Copita
At three ounces, the Copita is our smallest ceramic vessel yet it's the biggest representative of the studio's soul. It invites togetherness and good conversation over sips of mezcal. It's a studio tradition to offer a pour of mezcal in a copita and toast to creativity and connection. Both agave spirits and our spirits are uplifted by the copita, which is designed to curve and be hugged in one's hand.
Marcello's first hospitality client was a mezcal bar, and he's been firing dozens of new styles ever since. The studio even uses copitas to test new glazes instead of standard tiles like most clay studios.
It’s a piece that can be tucked in a pocket or purse—keys, wallet, phone, copita. They have traveled all over the world, from Chile to Copenhagen, NYC and London too, but all are handcrafted in Dallas, Texas.
Unlike our other glazes, our Texas Gold Copita is adorned with a 24-karat rim.
Dishwasher safe, bartender approved.

Much like a darkened sky, our Texas Night Core Collection is a deep obsidian shade. It reminds us of places with ceramic-rich cultures with natural black clay deposits like Japan and Oaxaca. Our clay body is a dyed porcelain with a near-black hue, alluding to the prairie sky, wide and high, deep in the heart of Dallas, Texas where our ceramics are crafted.
