Lapis Lazuli Pedastal
Originally designed for 55Seventy in Dallas, the Lapis Lazuli Pedestal Bowl was crafted by Marcello to elevate the dining experience, quite literally turning every dish into a work of art. While its elegant height makes it a centerpiece for fine dining, its versatility extends beyond the kitchen—it functions beautifully as a standalone sculptural piece or a sophisticated vessel for jewelry and small treasures.
The pedestal is finished in our Lapis Lazuli glaze. This deep blue is inspired by the metamorphic rock found in Chile—where Marcello’s family is from—and across the ancient world. Once a pigment so rare it was reserved for royalty and masterpieces like Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, our Lapis glaze brings that same sense of divinity and luxury to the modern table.
Handmade for home cooks and professional chefs alike.
Dishwasher and microwave safe. All of our ceramics are handmade in Dallas, Texas at Marcello Andres’ quonset hut. Perfectly imperfect: Due to variations in glaze and finishes, products may differ from what’s pictured.
